The 279 for Change Campaign is a re-definition of Election 2016, of Politics and of the role of every single American citizen.

Founded by renowned political communication strategist and author, Richard Greene, 279 For Change takes politics beyond politicians and beyond political parties in order to focus on "The Magic Number" of America, the 279 people (218 representatives in The House + 60 representatives in The Senate + 1 representative in The White House) that must be persuaded or elected in order to enact real change.

"Is Civility Dead?" Richard Greene speaking at the RNC

And the way to do that is to empower American citizens to:

    1

BILLIFY: Pick a bill that you are passionate about that will change America

    2

BECOME A "CITIZEN LOBBYIST": Lobby for the bill by telling your candidates "Support this bill and I will support you! Don't support this bill and I won't!"

    3

279 IT!:  Use social media to crowdsource the election of "The Magic Number" of 279 representatives who will make the transformational bill "The Law of The Land."

    THE SYSTEM IS NOT BROKEN!

This campaign is about using the current system to move beyond blame and to drive change.  It is about "Billifying, not vilifying".
